Cela fait bien longtemps que Quentin me proposait de descendre sur Lyon, j’ai toujours refusé par faute de temps… C’est finalement en Juin 2008 que cette petite escapade put se réaliser…
Quentin had invited me for a while but each time it was impossible for me to go to Lyon. In june 2008 I had some free time so I took the train to visit my friends.
1er jour: vendredi 13 juin, une session à Foch s'improvisa, quoi de plus normal… Avec Antoine Erimian, Ilia Koutchoukov, Quentin Mandron, Louis Villar, Tony "Roukin" Aulas et Vasco Moyal.
The first day (Friday) we had a good time in Foch, with Antoine Erimian, Ilia Koutchoukov, Quentin Mandron, Louis Villar, Tony "Roukin" Aulas and Vasco Moyal.

2ème jour: samedi 14 juin, rendez-vous à Foch en début d'après-midi pour aller rouler le street park de Villefontaine situé à 25 minutes de Lyon. Session sous le soleil avec bien entendu du whisky et du coca, deux éléments essentiels pour réussir une session Lyonnaise. Ilia a été productif comme a son habitude, avec ses lignes et ses nombreuses rockets air. Louis Villar au skating rapide et puissant nous gratifia de gros disaster back royale et top soul sur le curb plan/descente. Session bien agréable, suivie bien entendu de la soirée qui va avec les deux légendes de Lyon, Bernard "Plombier" Colin et Jimmy Gaillard.
The 14th of June: The meeting point was at Foch in the beginning of the afternoon. We took the cars in the direction of the Villefontaine's street park located 25 minutes from Lyon. We had a great session under the sun with some bottles of whisky and Coke, the two basic elements to get into a real "Lyonnaise's session". Ilia did some good lines and some big rocket airs. Louis Villar, with his fast and powerful skating, did some big disaster back royale and top soul on the ledge. It was a great sunny session and of course the party was crazy with two legends of Lyon, Bernard "plumber" Colin and Jimmy Gaillard.

3ème jour: dimanche 15 juin, le temps pluvieux nous force à rester sur Lyon, une petite éclaircie apparait et nous donne l’occasion de faire quelques petites glissades à Debourg. Merci à Sofiane Samlal d’avoir immortalisé le spot avec un super alley oop fishbrain de Vasco Moyal, ainsi qu'un monstrueux disaster back royal de Louis, et tout ça sous une pluie battante…
Sunday (15/06) : The weather was drippy, so we stayed in Lyon. Thanks to the bright interval a session took place at Debourg's ledge. Thanks to Sofiane Samlal, who immortalized with his camera (under the rain) Vasco Moyal's alley oop fishbrain and one of Louis Villar's disaster backside royale

Ensuite la session se finit au marché Gare sur une petite remorque de camion pour dernier spot, alors que Quentin et Roukin roulaient dans les entrepôts.
Then the session ended up at the station's grocery where we found a little trailer truck whereas Quentin and Roukin skated in a warehouse full of old tables and cardboards.

4ème jour: Lundi 16 juin, la pluie étant au rendez-vous Ilia nous invite chez lui (Pierre Adrien Winkelkoter, Vasco, Roukin et moi) pour regarder la vidéo Arcena, bonne petite session devant la télé.
Monday (16/06) it was rainning also, so Ilia invited us (Pierre Adrien Winkelkoter, Vasco Moyal, Tony "Roukin" Aulas and myself) to see Arcena's video in his apartment.
5ème jour: Mardi 17 juin: Quentin pris un jour de congé pour qu'on puisse filmer. On commence la session au muret de Valmy puis on se dirige au gros rail qui tourne (qui n'avait jamais été replaqué) de la Montée de l’Observance, mais après de nombreux essais Quentin préféra allez s’acheter une bouteille de Whisky étant donné que le rail était vraiment impossible à faire. La pluie refit son apparition et nous força encore une fois à finir la soirée avec un apéritif chez JP (le père que Quentin).
Tuesday (17/06): Quentin took a day off so that we could shoot some tricks. We began the session at Valmy's ledge. Afterwards we went to a huge, turning downrail at the "Montée de l'Observance" (nobody had done it yet) but Quentin, after some tries, preferred to buy a bottle of whisky given that the spot was really imposible to do. The rain started to fall, so Quentin and myself went to JP's house (Quentin's father) where we improvised an aperitif.

6ème jour: Mercredi 18 juin, départ à 6H du matin pour retrouver mon grand Nord.
