KULTURE : AL STICKING IT ALL UP ONCE AGAIN

Comme beaucoup d'artistes, AL offre une personnalité contrastée, parfois conflictuelle. Contrairement à bien d'autres, en revanche, il en possède réellement le talent. C'est sans doute la raison pour laquelle il est désormais la nouvelle tête d'affiche du team support Arcena, à la fois en tant que patineur et artiste de rue !
As many artists, AL offers a contrasting, often conflicting personality Unlike many others, though, he is also really talented. I don't know about the first part, but the latter is most probably the reason why he was picked to be the latest addition to the Arcena support team, both as a skater and a street artist !
Travaillant avec la marque depuis deux ans, principalement en tant que photographe, et partageant une vision commune et pas mal de potes, il semblait un choix évident pour Arcena, qui s'est toujours présenté comme une vitrine du lifestyle qui entoure sports et arts urbains. AL travaillera à présent sur des projets exclusifs de collages et autres œuvres pour la marque.
He's been working with the brand for the past two years, mostly as a photographer, and not only does he share a common vision, but many friends too. Therefore he seemed like the perfect addition to the roster, as Arcena has always represented the lifestyle that surrounds both blading and street arts. AL will be now working on new projects with the brand, including some exclusive posters and artworks.
As for his personal projects, AL is keeping himself busy, as you can see in the great video above, filmed and edited by Valentn Tuil. His own website should be up by the end of the month, and he's also extending his activities to other playgrounds, with a focus on indoor spaces & interior customization, opening himself some new doors !
Enfin, il travaille actuellement avec la marque WATS (We Are The Street) sur une série de 4 tee-shirts exclusifs qui devraient voir le jour en 2011. Par ailleurs, une exposition retraçant son travail sur la « Vélorution », réalisé en Mars dernier, sera présentée au concept store de Montpellier le mois prochain. Gardez un œil ouvert et découvrez bientôt ses nouveaux travaux !
Last but not least, he's currently working in collaboration with the brand WATS (We Are The Street) on a series of 4 exclusive tee-shirts, scheduled to come out in 2011. Also, an exhibition featuring his work « Vélorution » will be showcased at the concept store in Montpellier, this next December. Keep an eye open and check out his upcoming projects !
