Arrivés en terrain conquis, nous serrons la main des proprios et allons nous asseoir directement à notre table réservée.

So there we are, the typical after session spot, the Euro Istanbul Kebab in Haubourdin. Just next to the city hall so easy to find. A brand new pavement with nice benches and a perfect rail, just in the front of the restaurant, that makes the area easy to chill. Just inside, handcheks to the owners and we directly have a sit to our booked table.

La dernière fois que j'ai eu l'occasion de passer un peu de temps avec Clément Milot, on campait dans le park de Muelhausen, essayant de survivre dans le froid de la nuit allemande, et aux fous furieux imbibés de l'Afterclash. C'était juste le début de l'année pour Clément, et il semble que 2008 lui a été largement favorable.

Last time I got to spend some time with Clément Milot, we were both camping in Muelhausen's skatepark, trying to survive the cold German night, and some crazy drunken people from the Afterclash. That was just the beginning of th year for Clément, and it seems like 2008 has been quite a good year to him.

Originaire de Nancy, cela fait maintenant une quinzaine d'années que Skooly DK s'est installé à Lille. A la fois graphiste et dj, quand il troque son écran contre ses platines, c'est aux côtés du trio Stereo Pleasure qu'on le retrouve !

Quand Matthieu s'est installé dans le Nord de la France l'année dernière, il a amené avec lui beaucoup de motivation, et une bouffée d'air frais. Il est toujours bon d'avoir quelqu'un de motivé pour skater ou regarder la dernière vidéo IBI Unique quand l'hiver frappe durement. Ainsi, il s'est vite intégré à la scène, et est depuis considéré comme un local que tous appellent "Johnny". Il passe toujours beaucoup de temps dans la Mayenne pour le travail, mais est de retour tous les mois pour poursuivre ses études, et apprécier la Bonne Bouffe belge avec une bière locale. C'est comme ça qu'il aime le Nord.

When Matthieu Dosso moved in the North of France last year, he brought a lot of motivation with him, and a breath of fresh air. It's always good to have somebody juiced on skating or the latest IBI Unique video when winter hits you pretty hard. He got along with the scene pretty well, and since then, he's considered as a local mate, often reffered to as "Johnny". He still has to spend a lot of time out of town for work, but you know he'll be back in a few weeks to keep up with school, and enjoy some belgian junkfood with a local beer. That's how he likes it.

Repensant à leur premier voyage californien, la plupart des gens est submergée de souvenirs de vacances en famille et de passages à Disneyland. A l'âge de 15 ans, ma première expérience en Californie a consisté en de nombreuses soirées agitées, skate spots célèbres, ainsi que d'être le conducteur attitré de l'équipée, sans rien d'autre qu'un permis de conduite accompagnée. Au lieu d'habiter dans des hôtels j'ai été accueilli à la "SDSF mansion", et j'ai pu faire l'expérience de l'ambiance chaleureuse qui y règne.

When thinking about their first trip to California, most people are flooded with memories of family vacations and Disneyland. At the age of fifteen my first California experience consisted of parties, famous skate spots, and being a designated driver strapped with nothing but a learners permit. Instead of staying in hotels I was treated to the accommodations of the SDSF mansion, and even got to experience their house warming event.
